As a member, your name, research interests, and contact information will be listed in our member directory, and your authored books showcased on our virtual member bookshelf (one featuring academic works, and a second focusing on books for children and young adults).

Additionally, you will be eligible for a range of awards and grant opportunities available to both terminal degree holders and graduate students such as book and paper awards, and sponsorship of organized panels at the annual meeting of the Middle East Studies Association.

 

You will also be eligible for mentorship in our mentorship programs, which include both traditional academic faculty–graduate student pairings and alternative-to-academia (“alt-ac”) professional mentoring relationships for faculty and graduate students, alike.
